Caitlin ended her softball season in second place. There was never a championship game played due to inclement weather during all the possible make-up times so they went with the standings. The first place team was one win ahead of us. Our girls weren't so happy, but I proud of them! And Caitlin's arm seems to be healing nicely. Hoping she is good to go for fall ball, as is she!
We spent the week after July 4th in OH. It was nonstop. We went to a picnic at Gene & Peg's on the 4th, laid low on the 5th, went to Dad and Deb's on Sunday. Where a rousing game of wiffle ball took place. We spent some time at Grandma's, took the kids to Kings Island for a full 11 hour day and had a birthday party for Me, Emily, Will, Brady and Tyler. I don't think I forgot anyone, if I did, I'm sorry! Em kept the kids so Dave and I could go out to dinner for our anniversary. Thanks, Emmy!!! Woo-hoo, a date. We went to Montgomery Inn and started some Christmas shopping.
The kids and I are going back to OH tomorrow as Dad is pretty sick. They are hoping to be able to transfer him to Christ Hospital tomorrow. Say a prayer for all involved.
